How might we reimagine the way that healthcare is provided on college campuses to make it more accessible to students?
The current way that healthcare on Georgia Tech’s campus is done is ineffective for the students at large. Many of the students that we poled and interviewed expressed problems that they faced that deterred them from even seeking out care in the first place. This project explored ways in which students could take a more proactive approach to their healthcare, wherein getting the healthcare that they needed worked within their busy schedules rather than against.
Making healthcare easy and accessible for students helps them continue to perform at their best, stops them from unintentionally spreading more disease, and also causes them to have better outcomes overall. Catching maladies and developing an active approach to one’s own health has far lasting benefits into older age
